2024 MAKEUP TRENDS

The Fall Makeup Trends of 2024 are as futuristic as they are moody. Through the course of many years there has been numerous makeup trends around the globe. Some new and shiny, others resurfacing from years before. Let's dive into what 2024 has to bring !

  1. Cherry-Cola Lips

The cherry cola lip trend is a make-up style that draws inspiration from the rich, deep colors of a cherry cola soda. Combining reds and browns with high-shine textures, this look is all about feeling fun, fresh, and flirty, with an element of fizz. Instead of covering up your natural colors with matte textures and nude hues, this trend is about letting your natural lips peer through a juicy layer of vibrant color, to create the perfect summer pout. It’s a versatile trend that can be enjoyed by anyone who wants to add a bold and vibrant touch to their look.

  1. Monochromatic Makeup

By using hues from the same family on the colour wheel, a monochromatic makeup look creates soft washes of colour all over the face. Attracting attention through a romantic vibe, monochromatic makeup is the opposite of a bold beauty statement but no less statement-making.

  1. Blue Eyeshadow

Blue Eyeshadow Is Having A Revival! As a nineties baby, my first foray into makeup was very heavily influenced by 2000s beauty trends, in all its frosted lipstick and skinny brows glory. Thankfully, those are two things we've left behind, but one Y2K-inspired trend has been trickling back onto runways and red carpets alike and shows no sign of stopping. Get ready to welcome back icy blue eyeshadow.

    4. Espresso Trend

Espresso makeup is similar to the creamy browns and golds of latte makeup, but with a darker, sultrier twist. Think swapping the toasted golden milk and warming caramels for bitter chocolate and dark-roasted beans.

  1. Black Lipstick

Black, blue, and gray lips are having a moment. Here, why you should consider stepping out of your lipstick comfort zone. The weird and unconventional lipstick shades you once may have considered costumey have never looked more elevated.

  1. The 'Office Siren' Makeup Trend

Siren eyes are one the hottest eye trends right now, and for a good reason. This elevated smokey eyeliner look elongates your eyes with an easy liner shape to create an allure that's not only aesthetically captivating and mysterious but also works perfectly for all eye shapes.

  1. Frosted Eyes

Now, the shimmery eye look is back in style once again. Frosted eyeshadow is the latest Y2K beauty trend to get the revival treatment. And like those that have come before it, the frosted eye is getting a decidedly modern day twist. With today's take, the icy look doesn't just come in baby blue or silver hues.

  1. Indie Sleaze Makeup Trend

Think of indie sleaze make-up as the union of the classic smokey eye and smudged-out eyeliner. “I recommend using a light brown shade as your base colour, and then use a black hue in the waterline,” Ow says. “Then, gently smudge the black as close as possible to the lower lash line into the brown base.

  1. Rosy Glow

It's romantic, fresh and it comes with a youthful air and the promise of spring. It works across skin tones and ages. The trick is to vary the tones: a deep pink lip, brownish pink around the eyes, rose pink on the cheeks.

  1. Blurred Lips Trend

The firmer, sheerer formulation means that the Bisou Balm gives a blurred look to the lip, so the edges are purposely undefined, as though you've spent the night sipping cocktails in a chic bar before smooching your date on the way home, leaving your lipstick looking more casual.
